MC Easy Microfinance is a licensed microfinance institution with operations in Yangon, Mon, Kayin, Naypyitaw, Magway, Sagaing and Ayeyarwady which will soon expand to other States in Myanmar. In order to strengthen the pro-active team of our Head Office in Yangon, we are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Assistant.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist with day to day efficient operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews and assist the recruitment
  • Makes sure that the work space, computer and other equipment, mailbox, and appropriate installed software are ready for the new employee’s start day
  • Assist conducting initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Compile and update employee records in system
  • maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
  • Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely manner.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Process documentation and assist to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Deal with employee requests regarding Human resources issues, rules, and regulations and report to HR Manager
  • Maintaining Employee leave records
  • Assist in logistics of SSB and PIT regarding procedures
  • Properly handle and report to HRM about complaints and grievance procedures

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 year experience in the HR field of which at least 1 year at a clerk level or other acceptable Administrative HR capacity
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • General knowledge of Myanmar employment laws and practices.
  • Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to gather and analyse information skillfully and confidentially
  • People skills
  • Capability to express him/herself in English and fluent in Burmese language
